And, the FIRST place winner of The Gulf Coast Steinway Society (GCSS) Regional Upper Collegiate Piano Solo Competition is Shannon Boutwell, Samford University. Shannon is the 2024 1st place winner of The Guild’s Instrumental Scholarship, playing the violin. And, she dances! She is thrilled to be returning to Carnegie Hall this June 2025.
