Incredible summer 2024! In Adreanna’s own words:

“The program I am attending is called Opera Viva in Verona, Italy. I will be there for about a month. Within the program I get multiple lessons and coachings a week, in addition to other courses like Alexander Technique, Italian language classes, and more. I will perform in two group recitals with the arias I work on during the program and have been cast as Gianetta from L’elisir d’amore and Tisbe from La Cenerentola!”

“It would not have been possible without the support of everyone at The Guild of the Birmingham Music Club. With my scholarship I was able to buy groceries for the entirety of my stay as well as invest in experiences that enriched me as a musician, such as: traveling to the historic La Fenice Opera house in Venice, visiting the Uffizzi museum in Florence, and seeing three operas in the famous Arena in Verona! I made so many new friends and connections from this program and I feel quite prepared to enter my application process for my masters.”

“I have quite a few performance engagements this fall!
