The Guild of the Birmingham Music Club had their spring meeting and installation of officers at the lovely and picturesque home of Beth Adam’s Friday May 19th.
Pat Grant conducted a fun creative symphony of job descriptions for each new officer. They are; President – Fran Howard, 1st V.P. Fundraising – Cheree Carlton, 2nd V. P, Placement – Powell Owens, 3rd V.P. Programs – Beth Elliott, 4th V.P. Locations – Beth Adams, 5th V.P. Membership – Jeanne Bradford, 6th V.P. Scholarship – Phyllis Pelham, Recording Secretary – Debbie Bennett, Corresponding Secretary – Lochrane Coleman Smith, Treasurer – Suzanne Thomas, Historian – Marsha Drennen, Parliamentarian – Roberta Atkinson, Investment Trustees – Miriam Morris, Leslie DeRamus and Mary-Noel Sellers.
Committee Chairs were also announced. The club welcomed new members, Marsha Duell and Stephanie Byrne. New members, not in attendance, are Judy DeWitt, Glenda Sparacio and Victoria Hallman,

The club was organized in 1988 to foster appreciation of music and the performing arts. Incorporated on May 13, 2011, The Guild funds and administers an annual Music Scholarship competition for young musicians who attend an institution of higher learning in the State of Alabama.
This year’s fund raiser event will be Tablescapes, October 12, 2023 at Vestavia Country Club.
