The Guild of The Birmingham Music Club held their annual gala as a celebration of harmony! The gala was hosted by MBC members Beth and Scott Adams and music was provided by Panama Jack and the HangOuts. The Guild celebrated the amazing, young, aspiring talent that their members and friends have supported and enjoyed throughout the years. This year, the Guild looked to recall their history and increase their future impact in supporting education and in making beautiful music!
The Guild is inspired by music and education. Through their annual scholarship competition, originally established in 1941 by The Birmingham Music Club, The Guild supports young, aspiring musicians attending colleges and universities in the State of Alabama. Annually, winners are awarded in three categories: instrumental, piano, and voice. Through the years, this prestigious college music scholarship program has awarded more than $600,000 for developing talent in Alabama.
